Notable Fulbright Alumni
Worldwide, Fulbright alumni have achieved notable distinction and have been widely recognized as true scholars and contributors to mankind. Fulbrighters have served as Heads of State and Statesmen in government, and have been recipients of the most prestigious awards in science, the arts, business, philanthropy, education, and athletics.
In fact, twenty-nine Fulbright alumni have served as Heads of State or government, forty-three (43) Fulbright alumni from eleven (11) countries have been awarded the Nobel Prize, twenty-eight (28) Fulbright alumni have served as MacArthur Foundation Fellows, and seventy-eight (78) alumni have received a total of eight-two (82) prestigious Pulitzer Prize.
